About Sally Morrison
Dr. Morrison considers teaching as a special calling, since God entrusts children to parents and special care givers such as teachers. Her commitment to knowing children in order to help each one develop his or her own gifts, talents, and interests has led her through graduate schools and through service with children, families and teachers in both public and private schools. At Wheaton she challenges and participates in their journey of meaning-making with many undergraduate elementary education students as they learn how to teach reading while learning how to reach young children. This is a journey she truly cherishes.
She has traveled this journey with two sons, now young men, and a wonderful, talented husband, Glenn. Her artistic talents are evident through her home, crafts, garden, and the lives of the students she has touched. Dr. Morrison and her husband are also actively engaged in a large Evangelical church in the Chicago area.
