Jenny Yang

Jenny YangAs Vice President of Advocacy and Policy at World Relief (NGO), Baltimore Maryland, Jenny works with members of Congress and the Administration to improve refugee and immigration policy. She previously worked in the Resettlement section of World Relief as the Senior Case Manager and East Asia Program Officer, advocating for refugees in the East Asia Region and managing their entire caseload for World Relief before their arrival in the United States.

Previous to this, she managed fundraising and campaigning for local politicians in the largest political fundraising firm in Maryland. She has also researched refugee and asylum law in Madrid, Spain, through the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Relations and Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University.

Jenny is a co-author of Welcoming the Stranger: Justice, Compassion, and Truth in the Immigration Debate (InterVarsity Press, 2009).
