Papatheofanis Lectures

The Papatheofanis Lectures on early Christianity were established in honor of Drs. Frank and Julie Papatheofanis whose vision and sacrifice were principally responsible for the foundation of The Wheaton Center for Early Christian Studies. The lecture is given every Fall.

2016 Papatheofanis Lecture

David Hunter Lecture

Dr. David Hunter, the Cottrill-Rolfes Chair of Catholic Studies at the University of Kentucky, will be giving the 2016 Papatheofanis Lecture on how priests became celibate. The lecture will take place in Blanchard 339 on November 1, 2016 at 7:30 pm and is free and open to the public.
