Schoology is used for accessing class materials, discussion, online tests and assignments, and grade tracking.

The first time you sign in to Schoology, you will be asked to accept or cancel a connection with the Schoology Microsoft Integration. This is normal. Once you accept, you will not see this message again.

Getting Started

Sign in to Schoology at lms.wheaton.edu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is my course content that was copied from Blackboard?

  1. Sign into Schoology at lms.wheaton.edu.
  2. On the top navigation bar, select Groups. You will see a drop-down list of every group you are in.
  3. Select the appropriate group. For example, "X: ACAD ANTH" contains copied content for Anthropology courses.
  4. Once you are in the group, select Resources from the menu on the left side of the page.
  5. Course content is organized by term and course number within the resource folder.

How do I request access to a course for my TA or another faculty or staff member?

You can request special enrollment in a course here (you may be asked to sign in).

How do I adjust the types of emails I receive from Schoology?

  1. Sign into Schoology at lms.wheaton.edu.
  2. On the top navigation bar, select the drop-down arrow next to your name.
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Choose whether or not to receive email notification, or customize your notification settings per course or group.

I want help. Who should I contact?

Faculty members should contact Schoology for help with specific features. As part of the transition, 24/7 specialized support is available via chat, phone, or email in Schoology's Help Center.

Course Templates You can use course templates to get started and customize your course from there. Each course template includes a link to LibGuide Research Help and Library Resources. Once copied to a course, the guide automatically adjusts to show content specific to a course's subject area.
