Network Printing

Our campus web-printing service enables students and employees to print from their personal devices with ease. ThunderCloud web printing is currently available on most of the Ricoh printers found in the library, dorms and apartments, and offices across campus. 

In order to use our web print service, follow these steps:

  1. While connected to our network, open a browser and navigate to https://printing.wheaton.edu
  2. Sign in using your network username and password
  3. On the left-hand navigation pane, select the link titled "Web Print" 
  4. Click on "Submit a Job"
  5. Select the radio button next to "ThunderCloud_Printers" and click "Print Options and Account Selection"
  6. Enter the number of copies you would like to print and click "Upload Documents"
  7. Upload the documents from your computer and click "Upload and Complete"
  8. Go to any ThunderCloud enabled printer, enter your student/staff ID number and release PIN and then follow on-screen prompts to release your job

Important Note:

The first time you use campus printers, you will need to set up a release PIN. This PIN is used to identify you at the campus copier/printers. In order to set your PIN:

    1. While connected to our network, open a browser and navigate to https://printing.wheaton.edu
    2. Sign in using your network username and password
    3. On the left-hand navigation pane, select the link titled "Change Details"
    4. Enter your PIN and reenter your PIN (it must be four or more characters and cannot be your SSN or Student ID #)
    5. Click on "Change PIN"

FAQ

Web print can be used on PC, Mac, and Android devices. 

Currently, our ThunderCloud Printing service prints two sided in black and white. We hope to add more options, including color printing, later this year.

ThunderCloud printing is available on more than 30 Ricoh printers across campus (including dorm labs, the library, and the grad-student lounge) but is not available on every Ricoh printer.
