Recreation & Wellness Programs

The Sports and Recreation Complex is home to a number of recreational opportunities available to students as well as Wheaton College Employees and their dependents. These programs include Group Fitness classes, Open Climbing Wall times, and Open Swimming.

Ironman Challenge: Swim, bike and run the distances of an Ironman Triathlon during Winter, A Quad!  Track your mileage on our public Weight Room Bulletin Board for extra accountability.  T-shirts for finishers!

Winter Walk-a-Thon (Employees): Walk 50 miles during Winter, A Quad! Track your mileage on our public Bulletin Board for extra accountability. T-shirts for finishers!  Department Challenge: Register with 3 or more co-workers, when each member of the team completes their 50 miles your department will enjoy a Healthy Snack Platter! Sponsored by Human Resources

Climbing Competition: The only collegiate climbing competition of it's kind!  Comp held Saturday, February 6; thanks to our many event sponsors!

Indoor Triathlon: Held Saturday, February 27, the Indoor Triathlon challenges participants to a 10-minute swim, 20-minute bike and 15-minute run/walk!  All ages, speeds and abilities welcome!

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course, offered Spring of 2016!
