"I love connecting with students on a personal level and working with them through their struggles and successes. But my greatest joy is seeing students take a piece or a skill far beyond the notes on the page as they create and express music from their hearts. Then I know that I have not only taught good technique and musical expression, but I have touched someone's soul with music as well."
