2015 Staycation (Spring Break) Activities

Monday, March 30

Visual Art Workshop "Community Calligraphy" 
Tours at 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm | MON, MAR 30 only | Billy Graham Center Barrows Auditorium
Ages 12 and under

Master Artist Timothy R. Botts will offer tours of his recent calligraphy work of Handel's Messiah every hour in the Billy Graham Center Museum. Then, create your own calligraphy "Hallelujah" or praise hand in the Barrows lobby of the Billy Graham Center. The collaborative art pieces will be installed and on display in Pierce Commons through May 2015.

Instrument Petting Zoo 
9 am - 12 pm | WED, APR 1 only | Pierce Chapel
Ages 12 and under

Our "Zoo" gives children the opportunity to see, hear and play different instruments.

Visual Art Activity “Word Pictures"

Make and Take art activity. Create your own “Hallelujah” or praise hand.

Visual Art Community Exhibit Opening
6:30 - 8 pm | WED, APR 1 only | Pierce Commons
All ages

The community calligraphy exhibit is unveiled! Celebrate your work together at this opening. The exhibit will remain on display through May 2015.
