Costume Creations

WED-THURS-FRI | JUN 10-11-12 | 9:30–10:30 am | $45*

Let your imagination soar! Create a flying creature costume using mixed media. Children will envision and construct a creature’s head, tail, wings and body, inspiring originality and imaginative play.

Gr K-2
Paper Maché Animals

TUE-WED-THURS | JUL 14-15-16 | 9–11 am | $80*

Design and build a three-dimensional animal from the ground up starting with a base of paper maché, then embellishing it with paint, paper and who knows what?! This class fuels the young imagination to create a one of a kind friend.

Junk Art Sculpture

TUE-WED-THURS | JUL 14-15-16 | 1–3 pm | $80*

Let your imagine go wild and create art out of anything and everything! Students learn the basics of armature framework in an art studio setting, while creating original 3-D sculptures that stimulate the imagination.

Gr 4-8

TUE-WED-THURS | JUL 7-8-9 | 6–8 pm | $80*

This cartoon course is hands-on and interactive. Students learn the essential components of cartooning by drawing characters with a range of moods and expressions to make the cartoon come alive!

studio art summer art of glass

Gr 9-Adult
The Art of Glass

MON-TUE-WED | JUN 22-23-24 | 6–8 pm | $90*
Robin Kittleson, glass artist
Glass fusing is an exciting and inventive glass art which enables artists to create designs by fusing compatible pieces in a kiln. Students will be introduced to a variety of materials and techniques and will learn basic glass cutting, shaping skills, plus cleaning and layering techniques. Students will work with sheet and accessory glass to create a serving tray.
