Spring Break Staycation
Wheaton College hosts Spring Break Staycation, including activities for children ages 3-12 in the Billy Graham Center Museum, Community School of the Arts, Sports & Recreation Complex (SRC) and Wade Center. Community School of the Arts
The Community School of the Arts (CSA) is one of the many on campus programs that provides a way for Wheaton students to engage with the surrounding community through the arts and education. Created over 40 years ago, CSA upholds the standard of excellence in education for which Wheaton College is known. In providing classes for members in the greater Wheaton community from birth to adulthood, CSA endeavors to expose students to quality experiences in the creative arts in order to stimulate an enhanced ability to learn, a heightened sense of self-esteem, and an enriched appreciation for the arts.
The mission of Community School of the Arts is to honor and glorify God through teaching and inspiring students in the performing and visual arts, guiding them toward their full potential while encouraging them, in turn, to enrich the lives of others. CSA offers instruction in Suzuki and/or Traditional (Preparatory) music lessons, early childhood music, children's choirs, handbell ensembles, musical theater, and a variety of visual art classes for youth and adults, reaching over 1500 students each year.
