Congratulations Wheaton Magazine

Wheaton magazine received ten awards this year, including two awards for best redesign.

Award-Winning Redesign

We are pleased to announce that the redesign of Wheaton magazine has received a total of ten (yes, you read that right!) industry awards in 2016 from the Evangelical Press Association (EPA), The Communicator Awards, and the University & College Design Association (UCDA).

Editor Allison Althoff Steinke with Wheaton Magazine AwardsThis redesign and enhanced online presence was developed directly from results of a fall 2014 alumni survey, and through many direct conversations with readers. As a result, the new Wheaton magazine features shortened articles and an emphasis on photography and visuals, with letters to and from the editor moved online.

"One of the challenges of any magazine redesign is to balance what readers love about a publication with a desire to create new ways of engaging with the content," says Wheaton magazine editor Allison Althoff Steinke (pictured). "These awards are a huge encouragement that we are headed in the right direction both aesthetically and editorially."

Congratulations to Allison and the Wheaton magazine team for this substantial accomplishment.
