The Beehive is our camp store that offers a variety of items such as snacks, clothes, basic personal supplies, cards and stamps, souvenirs and more on a pre-paid account basis. We recommend $30 per week of camp to be deposited into your camper’s account. Wilderness program participants may want to consider less. This money is also used for crafts your child may make in the craft shop, and for any fines that may accrue. You may add money to or review your Beehive account at anytime through the Registration Portal > Log In >View Itineraries.
Unused balances will be refunded to parents in September. Please indicate your Beehive deposit amount on your registration form, and it will be added to your bill. At the end of the session, balances under $10 will not be refunded, but will be deposited into our camper scholarship fund.
A $150 deposit payment is required to complete your registration. After you register and pay your deposit you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Final payment is due in full by May 15th. You cannot register for new HoneyRock programs if your account carries an unpaid balance.
Once you have received confirmation of registration, your deposit is non-refundable. It is our expectation that campers who attend camp stay for the duration of their program.
We do our best to honor all roommate requests, but cannot guarantee them. Roommate requests are strictly limited to a chain of three friends, with no more than a one year grade separation. To be considered, requests must be received no later than two weeks prior to the start of the camp session. To request a roommate, log in through the Registration Portal > Log In >View Itineraries.
Programs at HoneyRock fill fast, so it is important that you register early. If you register for a full program or session and cannot move to an open one, you will be put on a waiting list. As spots become available, we will fill them from the waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis. At anytime, you may check your camper’s registration via the Registration Portal. After logging in, click on View Itineraries. From here you can check on a variety of things, including your camper’s current position on the waiting list.
Honey Rock provides free bus transportation from several locations to HoneyRock for your convenience. A $75 charge will be applied to campers traveling from St. Louis, MO. Our pick-up and drop-off options vary, so please open the Preparing for Camp link and refer to the Transportation section for detailed information. Except for airport shuttle service, a $75 fee is charged for all bus transportation from HoneyRock.
HoneyRock will offer a pick-up in St. Louis, MO on June 20 and June 27. A $75 fee applies to anyone riding the bus from St. Louis. There will be no return trip to St. Louis. We encourage all parents to attend Family Day and pick up their children at the end of the camp session. If your child is flying to/from camp please contact the airline for restrictions or additional fees.
To ensure a safe and positive learning environment for every camper, HoneyRock has instituted a behavior covenant that must be read and signed by each camper and his or her parents or guardian. This document is included within your online registration.
