Alumni from the graduating classes of 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008 will be back on campus to visit their alma mater during Wheaton College’s 2013 Homecoming Weekend Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5. Special reunion events are planned to give returning alumni the opportunity to reconnect with friends and professors.

Wheaton Archives and Special Collections Open House: 11 a.m. – 2p.m. Friday, 3rd floor, Billy Graham Center
Homecoming BBQ: 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Saturday, Hendrickson Gymnasium, Sports and Recreation Complex. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and under.
Dedication, Arthur E. Smith Jr. ’57 Collection of Minerals: 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Room 41, Lower Level Exhibit Hall, Meyer Science Center
Homecoming Fall Concert: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Edman Memorial Chapel. The Conservatory Concert features the Concert Choir, Women’s Chorale, and Men’s Glee Club. Tickets are available at the door: $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free for people under 18.
The Wheaton College Alumni Association is honoring Dave Teune ’74 with the 2013 Alumni of the Year of Distinguished Service to Alma Mater award. For three decades, Dave Teune ’74 has helped fellow alumni and friends find thoughtful and efficient ways to leave a legacy at Wheaton College. Teune has been instrumental in developing Wheaton’s perennially strong planned gift program, as an administrator and a fundraiser. Donors and colleagues alike value Teune’s discernment, compassion, honesty, and humility.
