International Justice Mission

IJM aims to empower students to pursue a lifetime of active involvement in justice issues through prayer, awareness and service opportunities

The student chapter of IJM at Wheaton strives to empower students to pursue a lifetime of active involvement in justice issues, such as human trafficking and bonded labor, through promoting awareness of injustices found both within local communities and globally, engaging in prayer for the restoration and redemption of victims and perpetrators of injustice, as well as, partnering with local and international organizations in service. Through weekly prayer meetings, sponsoring on campus events, and enabling the Wheaton College community to serve in justice-focused organizations, IJM seeks to "proclaim good news to the poor...proclaim freedom to the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the oppressed free."
