Graduation Year: 2015
Major: Communication: Theater
About Me: I grew up in Irvine, CA where the sun shines a bit more often than Wheaton, IL. I have a loving family. I'm passionate about Theater, dance and dance parties (covenant approved), any kind of tea, and people. After Wheaton, I hope to do something that involves people and stories and management and service (if you have any suggestions please let me know).
Why Wheaton? Three years ago, God so clearly called me to Wheaton, and since my time here I have grown to understand why. Wheaton College is a community that is training me to fully pursue the Lord with my mind and heart for His Kingdom both in my classes and in my relationships.
Why OC? OC is an opportunity for me to welcome, love and serve incoming students in the same way that I was welcomed my freshman year. Orientation was a formative experience in my time at Wheaton that set the bar for how I was called to live in this dynamic, Christ-centered community.
Favorite place on campus? Arena Theater
Describe Wheaton in three words: Dynamic, Community, Home
Favorite Wheatonism: CFA (crush from afar)
Most memorable experience at Wheaton (or part of a Wheaton program): Exploring Chicago with friends
What makes Wheaton unique? What makes Wheaton unique is its student body. Wheaton students are unified in their pursuit of Christ as the center aim of their lives, while having a diversity of passions and talents.
Favorite CU or campus event: President's Ball! You get to dress up and dance with your friends, what more could you ask for!
What person at Wheaton has had the greatest impact on you and why? My Acting Professors Mark Lewis and Michael Stauffer have had the greatest impact on me because they have taught me that the stories of our lives are worth telling. They have greatly exemplified what it means to be a Christian Theater Artist who desires to use theater as a means to advocate for the narrative of others.
