Glenn Perry

Graduation Year: 2015

Major: Business/Econ

About Me: I grew up in Blairstown, NJ with an older sister, a younger brother, a younger sister, and two loving parents. A few great grandparents attended Wheaton a long time ago so I'm bringing the Perry name back to this school. After I graduate I have no idea where the Lord is calling me but I would love to serve in the mission field in some capacity.

Why Wheaton? I loved the strong Christian fellowship that Wheaton offered coming from public school. After praying about it, I felt that the Lord was calling me to Wheaton and when I got in I decided to follow that calling. Best decision I ever made!

Why OC? As a part of OC, I have the privilege of encouraging and supporting new students as they make a huge transition in their lives. Wheaton has blessed me in a multitude of ways and OC provides me a wonderful opportunity to share that blessing with students as they arrive on campus for the first time. I want them to be as pumped as I am about Wheaton!

Favorite place on campus? SRC

Describe Wheaton in three words: I'm still single

Favorite Wheatonism: Trayless Tuesday

Most memorable experience at Wheaton (or part of a Wheaton program): Being up at HoneyRock for Student Development week was phenomenal. I think it's the coolest thing that Wheaton does.

What makes Wheaton unique? When I see 2400 students who love God all living in community together, it gets me fired up about what God is doing on our campus.

Favorite CU or campus event: Talent Show starring Baxter Helm and Austin Sahly

What person at Wheaton has had the greatest impact on you and why? Mark Persson - He was my RA last year and nobody that I know loves Wheaton more than him. He constantly encourages me to grow in my love for the people God has placed in my life.
