When Should I Arrive?
Ideally, international students should arrive on campus Thursday, August 20, 2015. You should check in at your residence hall, which is open from 2-4 pm, before stopping by the Welcome Center in Lower Beamer from 3pm-5pm. Students participating in Wheaton Passage will arrive on campus Thursday afternoon, August 20, in time to check in at the Welcome Center.
What if I need to arrive early because of my flight arrangements?
International students may arrive on campus early, however you need to inform the International Student Programs Office regarding your flight details and arrival information.
If I arrive early will there be anything for me to do?
The International Orientation Committee is putting together some optional events and activities for those that arrive before Orientation officially begins on Friday, August 21. You are welcome to join us for the activities as and when you wish and you’ll receive a schedule of what’s happening once you get to campus.
How do I get to Wheaton from the airport?
As mentioned above, please contact the International Student Programs Office regarding your flight details and arrival information and we will arrange a pick up from the airport for you.
What do I do if I need to get to a store?
The International Orientation Committee will be offering shuttle rides to a variety of stores during the days before Orientation, as well as during Orientation.
How do I get books for my classes?
You can order online at wheatonbooks.com or you can visit the bookstore in person once you arrive on campus.
Can I send my belongings ahead of me to campus?
All mail is received at the College Post Office (CPO). The mailing address for both packages and letters is:

How should I obtain a bank account or cell phone plan in the United States?
Chase Bank will be on campus during Orientation to assist students in setting up a bank account. Other banks are available in the area as well. A cell phone plan can be obtained through the telecommunications service providers in the area. Once you’re on campus, speak to the International Orientation Committee if you would like to know more.
Can my parents come to Passport to Wheaton?
Yes, we encourage parents to attend Passport to Wheaton and have a separate program for them which begins at 10 am on Friday, August 21.
