The Office of Christian Outreach

The Office of Christian Outreach (OCO) is dedicated to offering the Wheaton College community opportunities to learn through service. All seven of the ministries of the Office of Christian Outreach partner with international and national organizations, along with faculty and staff across departments and disciplines, to offer students unique opportunities to learn by combining their faith, academics, and service.

Learning Through Service

Whether you are passionate about mentoring and tutoring in Chicago, ministering with students, faculty and staff over Spring Break, dialoguing with international Christian leaders over dinner, or spending your summer living and learning among the urban poor, the OCO has opportunities for partnership.

There are several different student run ministries that serve out of our office. Please look through what each ministry offers to find ways to get involved. If you would like more information, you are welcome to visit the OCO at anytime. We are located at the north end of the Todd M. Beamer Student Center on the lower level. We look forward to meeting you!

Mission

The Office of Christian Outreach exists to influence, develop, and mobilize student learners to become witnesses that help to transform cities and nations for Christ and His Kingdom.

Vision

The Office of Christian Outreach’s vision is to develop student leaders and participants through experiential learning and service opportunities that actively involve Kingdom words (evangelism, prayer, testimony,) and Kingdom works (mercy, justice, hospitality, compassion).
