Donny Lee, Chair

Why WCF?

Being on WCF last year was one of the most eye opening experiences, and I really wanted another opportunity to see what issues affect the global church and how we can be active in praying about them.

Words to live by:

Present suffering, future glory

Craziest thing I've done:

Ate 150 chicken wings with four other friends

I want to...before I die:

Play Steph Curry 1v1

It bothers me when:

There are 3 chairs in a 4 chair table

Nathaniel Vadnais, Administrator

Why WCF?

I was raised in the same church in Minnesota up until coming to Wheaton and have only left the US once, so I am excited to learn more about the global church and how Christ is working in all cultures. We are part of a larger body and sharing these experiences on campus is a great opportunity for spiritual and community growth.

Words to live by:

Don't ask, don't tell

Craziest thing I've done:

Become friends with Zach Erwin, a non-science major. I'm still amazed I found time to talk to a human outside of lab conversation.

I want to...before I die:

Finish Biochemistry

It bothers me when:

I'm sitting at a table with two friends and Donny comes up and takes a chair away.

I walk into the OCO Breakfast Kick-off, and Joanna says, "Are you lost?"

Benedict Leung, Publicity Coordinator

Why WCF?

I was really interested in WCF's work as a semi-intentional group, and I was wanting to capitalize a bit on my status as an international student on campus. I'm also very appreciative of WCF's work with encouraging different styles of worship on campus.

Words to live by....

"To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up." - Ephesians 4:12

Craziest thing I've done:

I ate a fertilized egg with a fetus chicken in it.

I want to ..... before I die.

Own a cat

It bothers me when:

People make obvious and unnecessary comments and questions.

Matthew Lee, Creative Arts Coordinator

Why WCF?

I chose WCF because this will be a taste of God's future church. We will worship God as a global church, and WCF's main goal to strive toward is to add awareness to different cultures and global issues.

Words to live by:

"Half of life is just showing up"

Craziest thing I've done:

Accidentally set off the fire alarm in Wal-Mart. I ran away and was never caught...

I want to...before I die:

Go to Hawaii!

It bothers me when:

I get corrected in class and look dumb

Ben Kubacki, Prayer Coordinator

Why WCF?

The weekly WCF meetings were highlights of my week. I want to facilitate a suber, warm atmosphere and a space for prayer, worship and connection with others.

Words to live by....

Grace for others and grace for self

Craziest thing I've done:

Jungle walk in the Amazon at night

I want to...before I die:

Lear a tribal language of Africa

It bothers me when:

People during class act like they're have a one-on-one conversation with the professor.

Miye Nakamura, Kingdom Prayer Vigil Coordinator

Why WCF?

I think being aware of our global church is important in our journey as Christians.

Words to live by....

Don't treat others like others treat you. Treat others like Jesus treats you.

Craziest thing I've done:

Woke up only 10 minutes before my first WCF meeting.

I want to...before I die:

Learn at least 3 languages

It bothers me when:

It's sleeting on the first day of May

Sarah Paul,  Events Coordinator
