Rodney Sisco, Director
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Rodney has consistently provided leadership in Wheaton's developing diverse community. He has helped to develop the greater than 80% retention rate of students of color at Wheaton and the recruitment of students, faculty, and administration throughout his greater than 25 years of ministry. He has served on the Racial Harmony Commission of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities; on the Board of the National Christian Multicultural Student Leaders Conference Inc.; on the Diversity Task Force of the Association of Christians in Student Development; and is a recipient of the latter's Jane Higa Award for Racial Harmony. Rodney has a passion for Christ, music and a healthy sense of humor.
Eva Ortiz, Assistant Director
Eva is committed to utilizing her God–given gifts to encourage, empower, and challenge students to excel throughout their Wheaton experience by celebrating their “uniqueness” and maximizing their individual opportunities for communal growth.
Tanya Egler, Gospel Choir Director
Tanya Egler has enjoyed the opportunity to serve as the Director of the Wheaton College Gospel Choir for 20 years. She is a native of Cleveland, Ohio where she grew up in a singing family that fostered her love for God and music. Tanya earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. She and her husband Calvin '95 are co-founders of Passion Ministries. They are blessed to have three young adult children who love and serve God.
Kevin Ung, Graduate Resident Assistant
Originally from Memphis, TN,Kevin is a a huge sports fanatic. He loves playing/watching football, soccer, basketball, and anything else that involves a ball, court, or field. Additionally he loves outdoor adventures. Kevin has a passion for serving students and helping them discover the uniqueness that God has created them with. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Intercultural Studies and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). "As image bearers of the Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that we are all created with a special purpose in this life; I considered it an honor to help students further seek out what their callings may be.
