Austyn begins his first year as the Graduate Resident Assistant for to the campus houses and College Court apartments. Austyn completed his undergrad at Wheaton where he served as an RA in the Smith-Traber residence hall and now is continuing his studies in Wheaton's Christian Formation and Ministry program. Austyn works in the Student Activities Office facilitating Transfer Orientation week and supports Wheaton's racial reconciliation group, Solidarity Cabinet. Hailing from East Texas, Austyn enjoys the rural landscape and wide open space. If he is not organizing something for fun you may find him reading outside or spending time with friends and family.
Stephanie is the new Graduate Resident Assistant in Terrace, as well as working in the Office of Christian Outreach. She completed her undergrad at Westmont College and is enrolled in the Christian Formation and Ministry Program. She and her husband, Rory, enjoy hiking and backpacking near their 1937 historic cabin in Mineral King, Sequoia National Park, interacting with kids from World Impact, Fresno, traveling to other countries, and practicing Spanish. Stephanie and Rory rock out to Prog/Power metal concerts and bake the meanest lemon bars!
Jen and her husband, Joshua, have been married for about a year and are both from the beautiful state of Washington. She grew up on the island north of Seattle and did her undergrad in Psychology at Whitworth University in Spokane. They both adore their students in the Michigan/Crescent apartments and are in their second year of grad school. She is studying TESOL and working with the Discipleship Small Group program on campus. In her spare time, she prefers to be hiking, eating Graham's chocolate peanut butter ice cream, playing board games or poking around thrift stores.
Andrea continues her second year as the Graduate Resident Assistant, supervising 802, 814 and 818 College Avenue apartments, working with the Dean of Student Care and Services, and continuing the Christian Formation and Ministry program. Andrea completed her degree at Spring Arbor University in Michigan. She enjoys hanging out with her husband, Aaron, and their boy "Benny", the coolest dog ever! She loves being outdoors: running, playing Frisbee, and camping. She enjoys building on old relationships and cultivating new ones. Growing up on a farm may have influenced this desire.
Kevin is in his first year as a Graduate Resident Assistant in 904 and 916 College Avenue, as well as working in the Office of Multicultural Development. He is pursuing his M.A. in Intercultural Studies and TESOL. He calls Memphis, Tennessee home and just completed his degree at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. Kevin loves cooking, engaging new cultures, exploring the outdoors, playing various sports and trying new and challenging activities! Kevin loves meeting new people and seeing how each person is created uniquely and wonderfully different.
