The NCAA tournament kicks off today, and both Thunder soccer teams will open up postseason play at home after each team earned the CCIW’s automatic bid with a championship-game win over Carthage College on Saturday, Nov. 9. The 2012-13 season saw many exciting moments for the Wheaton Thunder men’s basketball team: A buzzer-beating home victory over nationally-ranked Washington University (Mo.), an overtime home stunner over conference rival North Central, another trip to the NCAA Tournament and a round-one victory at the buzzer in King Arena to beat St. Norbert by a point and advance in the dance.
