Reporting to the Director of Brand and Content Strategies and the Editor in Chief of the Wheaton magazine, Eliana is responsible for creating journalistic content in support of Wheaton College’s storytelling strategies. She writes and edits press releases, news stories, feature articles, magazine articles, and other copy to promote and elevate the Wheaton College brand among key audiences. She also manages the Wheaton magazine’s weekly online publishing process, including editing and freelancer communications, and assists in publishing the biannual print copy of the magazine.
Hailing from the mushroom fields of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, Eliana believes all good storytelling starts with story listening. As a writer and editor, she is committed to crafting and sharing stories in ways that are engaging, meaningful, and honest in depicting the good, true, and beautiful. She graduated from Wheaton College in 2021 with a B.A. in English writing, then spent 10 months working in the grandeur of the Pacific Northwest before returning to Wheaton in her current role. She lives with her moody houseplants and overflowing bookshelves, and dreams of someday owning a home in the woods.
