In her role as Visual Media Production Specialist, Kayla creates feature videos to support MarCom strategies and provides photography for Wheaton magazine and for targeted MarCom initiatives. Kayla is also responsible for maintaining Wheaton’s video and photo equipment, and the content in our digital asset management system, Aprimo.

Kayla was given her first digital camera at the age of 12 and has been behind the camera ever since. From convincing her friends and family to be in video skits as a child to producing impactful stories as an adult, her passion for meaningful storytelling began at a young age. Originally from Arizona, she earned a B.A. in media communication from Indiana Wesleyan University before working as the digital media specialist at Oakton College. When she’s not capturing photos or editing videos, Kayla loves experimenting with new recipes, embarking on hikes, and propagating plants.
