As the Marketing Coordinator for HoneyRock, Laura's responsibilities include promoting programs, writing copy, maintaining the website, and managing projects and branding for HoneyRock. This includes the Vanguard Gap Year of Wheaton College, Wheaton in the Northwoods (WIN), retreat groups, summer camp programs, undergraduate programs at HoneyRock, and more.

Laura grew up in southeastern Wisconsin with her four older siblings and school-teacher parents, who cultivated in her a passion for education, art, and God. She also enjoys watching movies, hiking/backpacking, pickleball, history (art and church history specifically), and doing most anything that lets her work with her hands. In 2017 she graduated with a B.F.A. in Studio Art and a B.S. in Educational Studies from Concordia University, Nebraska. Prior to coming to HoneyRock and Wheaton College, Laura was an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor for her alma mater. Throughout college, Laura served at Camp Timber-lee for seven summer seasons and aided in facilitating Timber-lee's 9-month internship program after completing undergrad. Laura's first engagement with Wheaton College was through the Fellowship Program at HoneyRock. While participating in the Fellows Program and working as a graduate assistant she worked closely with the Vanguard Gap Year program. Laura decided to pursue the M.A. in Outdoor and Adventure Leadership program with Wheaton College at HoneyRock (2022). Her heart for student development, storytelling, and the outdoors led her towards the Marketing Coordinator position with Wheaton College and HoneyRock.
