George “Modavador g” Salter, Rhyme 2 Reason, Founder Poetry in Motion: Picture this, God is on Time, is Modavador g’s most recent literary work. It is his testimony, shared for this purpose: that the world might seek and know God through faith in Jesus Christ. For in Him, we live, we move, we exist. This is how George found his story in God’s Story. Modavador encourages his audience to come along on this poetic journey to find their story in God’s Story.

In his work God’s Story- It All Good in the Hood, Modavador weaves artistic rhyme with the Word of God giving a creative, accurate, and fun panorama of the Bible. Navigators Ministry used Modavador g’s voice to create a discipleship program for a solar-powered audio player used in prisons throughout the country. Modavador is an ordained minister, author, conference speaker, Bible teller instructor, and gospel hip-hop recording artist.

Locally, before the COVID-19 pandemic, Modavador served as a ministry volunteer at the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice: Illinois Youth Center (IYC) at St. Charles. Modavador continues to produce spiritual, motivational, and devotional spoken word ministry tools to be used in prisons across the country. Currently, Modavador is conducting extensive research, programming, and piloting a peer-to-peer storytelling curriculum for inmates at a maximum security prison in collaboration with Sharing God’s Love, Inc.

As a Community Health and Wellness Response professional, George is the Community Response Corps Supervisor for Habilitative Systems Inc., a community-based organization in Chicago, Illinois.

George received his Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (MAEL) degree from Gateway Seminary and his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Science degree and graduated with honors from SUNY at Geneseo School of Business.

George is a member of Second Baptist Church of Wheaton where Reverend Kevin Williams is the Senior Pastor.
