Papatheofanis Lectures


The Papatheofanis Lectures on early Christianity were established in honor of Drs. Frank and Julie Papatheofanis whose vision and sacrifice were principally responsible for the foundation of The Wheaton Center for Early Christian Studies. The lecture is given every Fall.

2017 Papatheofanis Lecture

'A Lamp unto my feet!' How the early Church Fathers teach us to read Scripture

Dr. Daniel H. Williams, Professor of Patristics and Historical Theology at Baylor University, will be giving the 2017 Papatheofanis Lecture. The lecture will take place in the Billy Graham Center 432, the Wilson Suite on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 7:30 pm and is free and open to the public.
