Chad Gauger

Chad Gauger has worked in a variety of roles across the agricultural industry for over 27 years. Chad joined Scoular in June 2021 as the General Manager of the High Nutritional Value Proteins business after spending 25 years at Cargill.

Chad’s work experience at Cargill included 9 years in grain merchandising/soybean crush, 3 years in trading risk management, 2 years in energy trading, 2 years in strategy and business development and 9 years in livestock and aquaculture feed. Chad has had a long standing interest in working cross culturally and internationally, and has lived and worked in 5 countries outside of the US during his career.

Chad earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics degree from Wheaton College in 1995, a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University in 2004, and a Master of Science in Finance from Indiana University in 2005.

When not working, Chad enjoy spending time with his wife Gretchen, and their children Lily (age 17) and Peter (age 16).  As a family they enjoy involvement at church and being active outside, with their kids active in music, youth group, and sports.
