As a result of completing the Chinese Language and Culture program at Wheaton College, students will achieve the following learning outcomes:
- Demonstration of advanced-level language skills in reading, speaking, and writing.
- Identifies key issues and norms governing contemporary and/or historical target culture.
- Analyzes literary or other cultural products in the target context.
- Identifies and appreciates diversities of the target culture.
- Articulates diverse expressions of Christianity among peoples and cultures, including one’s own.
- Relates religious practices, experiences and views of diverse cultures to foundational values of the Christian faith.
