Opportunities for Philosophy Students

Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club is a chill group of students who seek to discuss important philosophic matters in the context of relationship.  We achieve this by weekly, low-key meetings in a student’s apartment with plenty of hot drinks.  All majors welcome!

Internships

Philosophy internships are an important link between the academic study of philosophy and the practical application of philosophical concepts and methods. There are almost no limits to the sorts of internship opportunities students may explore. For example, Annie-Clarendon Wilson was awarded Wheaton College’s Center for Urban Engagement Fellowship in Public Interest Law including a summer internship with Greater Chicago Legal Clinic Inc.

CUE Summer Legal Fellowship

The Fellowship in Public Interest Law responds to God’s call for justice in the world by providing paid internships of 8-10 weeks at carefully selected Chicago-based organizations serving the legal needs of under-resourced communities while providing mentoring opportunities with alumni working in legal professions. It is open to anyone considering a legal profession after graduation.
