Betsy started her career working for Wheaton-Warrenville Community Unit School District 200 as an elementary school teacher.  During the six years at Pleasant Hill Elementary School, she taught both 3rd and 4th grade.  She enjoyed staying home with her two boys for many years, and now is excited to be back in Education. 

Her role at Wheaton College is as an Education Specialist.  She provides support for faculty and guidance for students seeking teacher licensure.  Betsy works closely with the Department Chair, the Clinical Placement Coordinator, the Undergraduate Coordinator, the Graduate Coordinator, and the Office Manager to meet the needs of the Education Department. 

Betsy is married to Erick and they have two boys who are very busy with athletics.  She enjoys going for walks, taking barre classes, watching her children participate in sports, as well as spending time with friends and family.
