PACT aims to support the mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of Asian Americans in Chicagoland by fostering collaboration between mental health professionals and churches/pastors.
Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) and Child Development Group
This 8-week program provides psychoeducation to create deeper attachment relationships between parents and young children, especially helpful for families who have experienced trauma.
Parenting Workshops
To meet the needs of highly stressed parents in underserved areas, we plan to offer a half-day workshop covering the basics of healthy parenting.
Care for Underserved Children Project
This project seeks to improve coordinated therapeutic care for racial minorities, involving interviews with DCFS representatives, providers, and publishing a perspective paper on improving child and family care.
Research, Resources, and Consultation on Christian Mental Health
This project involves qualitative studies of Christian spirituality, creating and disseminating resources, and conducting research in collaboration with Christian churches and organizations.
Predoctoral Interns
We support students from internship through postdoctoral training, providing services with engagement in the Church in underserved rural areas.
National K-12 Leadership Summit
Following our successful summit, we are organizing intermediate training to develop mental health and policy initiatives for private Christian K-12 educational settings.
