To Sophia, writing is like “an active liturgy. It is intentional, beautiful, and fraught with vulnerability. Writing is liturgical in that you sit with ideas, consider them, hold them close, and, eventually, give them voice. It is communal, between author, audience, and Abba, similar to many acts of worship. It is also an exercise in trust when you open your mind to others and let them respond to your work. Writing is a liturgy of effort and acceptance, glorious when done unto the Lord.”
