Barbara’s students have received numerous awards and scholarships. Notably, some of these are the Chicago Youth Symphony Solo Competition, the DuPage Youth Symphony Solo Competition, and various scholarships offered in the surrounding high schools, the CSA, and State Universities.
Barbara is a free-lance violinist performing and recording regularly with the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic and numerous classical groups. She is a member of the Brahms Trio for the past fifteen years. She also tours and performs with Orchestra 33. Barb is very active teaching and performing in her church and on the local and district level.
Barb believes music is a God-given gift which should be nurtured in every person in some way. She has a passion for helping students explore and expertly develop this gift.
