Zoe's Feet Dance Ministry

The Zoe’s Feet mission is to cultivate a community of dancers that is centered on the Word of God, celebrates unity and diversity, and provides a safe and honest space for worship.

In Greek, Zoe, means “abundant life, devoted to God” and reflects our desire as a dance ministry to cultivate a community of dancers that is centered on the Word of God, celebrates unity and diversity, and provides a safe and honest space for worship. Our vision is to invite Wheaton College students and the broader community into embodied worship through shows, workshops, and service. Zoe’s Feet was started in 1998 as a club, but has since grown to become a Ministry Team within Ministry & Evangelism. Ultimately, Zoe’s Feet is a ministry that seeks to share the good news of Jesus Christ through the medium of dance.

During the course of the year, Zoe's Feet welcomes the campus and community to join them in worship through two primary shows and chapel.  In the fall, Zoe's Feet puts on a performance that is focused on a particular passage or theme in Scripture. In the winter, Zoe's Feet invites students across campus to participate in a celebration of dance as worship in their annual performance entitled "Confessions." In addition, Zoe's Feet has the opportunity to lead campus in worship during chapel.

Zoe's Feet members meet twice a week for practices. In addition, members meet to rehearse pieces for upcoming shows. Members are expected to be active in the Zoe's Feet community through participation in small groups, leading devotionals, and choreographing.

Auditions are held at the beginning of the fall semester. Information will be distributed at both the organizations and ministry fairs. Please contact zoesfeet@gmail.com for more information.
