COVID-19 Protocol

• In keeping with updated guidance from the CDC released on March 1, 2024, COVID-19 will be treated like other respiratory viruses such as influenza and RSV.
• If testing positive for COVID-19, stay home from school or work until feeling better and fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medications). Additional prevention strategies may include: wearing a well-fitting mask, keeping distance from others, and using enhanced hygiene practices.
• Students must test positive at Student Health Services (SHS) to receive a Notice of Absence for the number of days recommended to be out of classes due to fever. COVID-19 tests at SHS cost $10 billed to the student account.
• We recommend students stay up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations for infection prevention.
