In Niche’s 2020 Best Colleges in America rankings, Wheaton College was ranked the #1 liberal arts college in Illinois.
Wheaton College was named the #1 liberal arts college in Illinois by Niche in its 2020 Best Colleges in America rankings. The College earned the top spot out of nine liberal arts colleges in the state, moving up one spot from its #2 ranking last year.
Niche rankings are based on an analysis of academic admissions, financial, and student life data, as well as reviews from current students and alumni.
"At Wheaton, we live and breathe the liberal arts, believing that learning shouldn’t be confined to a particular career but oriented more broadly to shape the entire person for all of life’s seasons and vocations," said Wheaton College Chief Enrollment Management Officer Silvio Vazquez. "It’s gratifying to see Wheaton’s ranking as the #1 liberal arts college by Niche.com, and it’s further confirmation of what we know to be true of the excellent education offered at our institution."
