This week, Wheaton College staff, faculty, administration, and student leaders welcome 600 first-year students and transfers from across the country and around the globe to campus. For the next two weeks, they will participate in the unique Passage Orientation experience, intentionally designed to introduce students to their upcoming life at Wheaton.
The 558 incoming first-year students represent 42 states and 40 nations, and 14% of the Class of 2027 are citizens of other countries and/or missionary kids (MKs) and third-culture kids (TCKs).

78.3% (437) are from families new to Wheaton
8% (45) are the first in their families to attend college
21.6% (121) have alumni parent(s), grandparent(s), and/or sibling(s) who attended Wheaton
“As we welcome our new first-year and transfer students to campus this fall semester, we thank the Lord for calling them to the life-shaping and holistic experience that Wheaton offers,” said Silvio Vazquez, Chief Enrollment Management Officer. “Our students are academically gifted and possess unique callings to prepare for Kingdom service through their chosen fields of study and extracurricular endeavors. They represent diverse communities from across the nation and around the globe. We truly rejoice in the many ways the global church is reflected in our student body.”
