Access Database Modernization
Effective Date: May 9 & 17, 2015
During the month of May, we will migrate some Access databases to new servers. This change is part of an effort to modernize our databases and retire redundant systems. We will notify each person individually when the databases they use are migrated.
Instructions
You will receive an email letting you know the day and time any database you use will be migrated. On that day:
- Be sure to close any open databases
- Shut down your computer before leaving for the day
The next morning, you should be able to log into your workstation and use any databases you used previously. If your department has student workstations, we may need to do some additional setup after the upgrade. Contact us or call 630.752.4357 for assistance.
